February 2011 Torex Auction

Auction Details

MOORE'S is again very pleased to be able to offer a fine grouping of note, including rare Dominion of Canada notes and Proofs, Bank of Canada rarities, including Specimens. The Chartered bank note section features several consignments of both issued notes, Specimens and Proofs and uncut sheets. Also included is a large collection of vignettes used on Chartered notes, along with A.B.N.C. production material. Cataloguer's Note: Bank note estimates are based for the most part, on the values listed in the most recent editions of the Charlton Standard Catalogues of Canadian Bank Notes and Canadian Government Paper Money. Recent internet transactions, auction results and private treaty sales known to the auctioneer are also factors into the estimates in many instances. Bidders should note that many results, particularly for Chartered bank notes, are substantially higher than catalogue values.
