Listed as lots 1210 through 1398, the collection is the most complete and extensive Hudson’s Bay Company collection to be offered for sale in two decades. Also, on October 27th, the most complete collection of bank notes ever assembled from The International Bank of Canada, listed as lots 1425 through 1540, will also be sold as part of the banknote portion of the auction sale. Three very rare serial number one notes from the Dominion of Canada will also be auctioned. The third specialty collection to be auctioned in Session One on Thursday is a collection of tokens attributed to Thomas Church of Ottawa, lots 1125 through 1206. The collection is one of the most extensive to ever be auctioned in Canada.
A final specialty collection of War Savings Certificates will also be sold on Thursday in lot number 1772 through 1785, including an example that is unique to the collecting public.
